Board Members are responsible for understanding and promoting the organization's mission. They are involved in strategic planning, financial oversight, and policy development. This position is a 2 year term.

Responsibilities:
- Attend at least 75% of board meetings
- Participate in strategic planning
- Lead one subcommittee/project
- Provide oversight for the organization
- Review and approve annual budgets
- Review and approve board meeting minutes.
- Attend at least one in season team event.

Subcommittee 1: Strategic Plan
Subcommittee 2: Outreach
Subcommittee 3: Marketing
Subcommittee 4: Fundraising
Subcommittee 5: Parent Volunteer Coordinator
Subcommittee 6: Race Coordinator
- Develop a 5 year strategic plan for how the organization will work towards better serving our community and meeting our mission and vision
Subcommittee 2: Outreach
- Coordinate and execute outreach events in all Plumas County communities
- Plan and execute recruitment of specific underrepresented groups within our communities
- Support riders from underrepresented groups throughout the season
Subcommittee 3: Marketing
- Create a marketing plan
- Coordinate website management and updates
- Manage social media
- Create flyers throughout the year
Subcommittee 4: Fundraising
- Plan and conduct fundraisers throughout the year
- Apply for grants for specific team needs
- Recruit sponsors for each season
- Create and manage an online donation platform
Subcommittee 5: Parent Volunteer Coordinator
- Develop in season parent volunteer roles
- Recruit parent volunteers for fundraisers and in season events
- Check in with parent volunteers throughout season and collaborate with team director
Subcommittee 6: Race Coordinator
- Schedule races for the season
- Develop a race training program for interested riders
- Supply team members and families with registration information
- Recruit riders for races
- Support riders and families at races
